September 12, 2005 ~ At this time I feel compelled to tell you some sad (first hand) facts about FEMA (Federal Emergency Management) and your/my tax dollars.

 

My legal brothel business sits on the edge of the Truckee River just east of Reno, Nevada. Back in 1986 we had a huge flood. (which happens sometimes when you live in a river basin) So anyway I had already been through a flood or two in the area, so when I built the building for my business, I called in an engineer and found out what would be a safe elevation above the river to build. After the excavators had brought enough fill to bring the site up to the engineered "safe" grade, I said, "Ok, now make the site ten feet higher, which they did.

 

So now back to the flood of 1986: During the high water of that flood, my building was the only man-made structure in the area that wasn't under water. When the water went down, the only damage I incurred was the fact that the water had washed away my parking lot and the access road to my business. So I called in one of the local asphalt companies and had them resurface my parking lot and my access road which was about the length of a football field.  When the work was completed I paid the bill which was somewhere around $16,000 plus a few passes to the "butt-hut"

 

Now all was good until we had another flood on News Years Day 1997. Then we went through the same process as in the flood of 86' except this time my parking lot was not damaged and I only lost a 20 (twenty) foot length of access road. The other difference was, I got a visit from some nice fellow from FEMA telling me not to worry because FEMA was going to fix my access road for free. (which they did!)

 

Now here is the weird part. I nosed around to see if I could find the guys who repaired the damaged road because I figured if they were still doing work in the area, I would hire them to do some other non-flood related minor road repairs for me. I never found the asphalt repair guys, but what I did find was a copy of an inter-agency invoice for the 20 foot stretch of road that was repaired. I almost could not believe my eyes when I saw the billing invoice which was billed from one department in FEMA to another department in FEMA. The total cost of the repairs to the 20 foot section of damaged asphalt plus engineering plus miscellanies fees came to a grand total of $120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand dollars) Just six years earlier I got 300 feet plus a parking lot for $16,000 and this time only 20 feet cost the U.S. taxpayer $120,000!

 

AND THEY WONDER WHY WE HAVE NO FAITH IN GOVERNMENT...

 

One more thing; as I read about the cost of hurricane Katrina, I can't help but wonder how bad the taxpayer is getting fucked this time... (Ok all you 3 letter government agencies reading this, you know it is your tax dollars too! Now do what's right for a change and help your country out. You are the PEOPLE'S inside track to government. Don't let us down...)

Local Autonomy & Accountability....

A parent posting to a "homeschooling" education list I subscribe to wrote something today about how when the company she works for was owned and run locally, there wasn't "the stupidity" of some of the policies and actions she sees now that the company is "owned by a national corporation."

This goes directly to the point DavesWorld81 makes in his blog, Who's taking advantage of you?

To all this I say yes... "local" autonomy to self-accountability (starting with "the individual/family" as the foundation upon which all tenets of self-governance are built) is the key to healthy civic/social well being... and we (as a society) have strayed very far from this norm... most prolifically under the banner of "doing good" for others -- a la the musical rendition in Man of La Mancha, "We're Only Thinking of Him".

Thus the resounding importance of UNschooling ourselves (children learn what they live) from our unswerving acceptance of super-imposed authority, aka: the "daddy knows best" mentality.

Patently, we "the individual/family" know best what is best for us.... And even if our best judgment proves out to be "wrong" -- in light of the "learn from our own mistakes" credo -- we are still "right" to do what seems to suit us best.

Note also with emphasis that this "right to be wrong" is, constitutionally speaking, imbued to us by "our Creator" (which is NOT an edict of religiosity, but an affirmation that "government" has not the power to take our rights away).

In other words, certain human rights are sacrosanct and thus government is instituted among us, by us and through us ONLY to ensure that each citizen's imbued rights are respected.

Still, each of us individuals must exercise (and thus "earn") our rights or subject same to forfeiture resulting from our own apathy, ignorance and complicity with (as scripture says): "....wickedness, malice, idolatry, covetousness, waywardness, envy, manslayings, strife, guile, evil will, privy backbiters, detractors, hateful to God, debaters, proud and high over measure, wrongful despisers, proud, high, finders of evil things, not obedient to father and mother, being unwise, unmannerly, without love or affection, without bond of peace, without mercy." Update: 27 June, 2005 ~

The Hells Angels Motorcycle Club "Death Head" Logo is recognized around the world. It is used exclusively to represent membership and or ownership by Hells Angels Members or Charters only. Some people may wonder why we are so emphatic about controlling this image, well I will explain my view on this subject.

From the dawn of Mankind the image of a human skull has invoked intense emotions of death, fear, unknown horrors, danger, etc. Every race and group of mankind has had to face the many perils of life and death. The display of a human skull would warn that whatever it was near was to be avoided. Would you drink from a well that had Skulls around it or enter a forest that displayed Skulls on poles near the path? Okay, then,  Adding wings meant that the danger  had mobility which in turn means not only stay away, but do not provoke, or draw its attention unless prepared to face the unknown dangers it carries. No wonder it was adopted as the symbol of flying warriors  who faced death and carried it to our world's enemies which help preserve Freedom in our world. 

Later, after the Wars, the need to assemble as a group became a necessity for those who chose to exercise their freedom by riding dangerous motorcycles. The fear and prejudices of a naive populous created  new dangers to the sport of motorcycle riding. Riding in a group was much safer than by yourself . Movies like the wild one portrayed these groups as a menace to society which led to government oppression by local, state, and later federal police agencies as well as legislation and unlawful court rulings which threaten the very freedoms that we all fought for.

This brings me to why we vigorously enforce our Trademark rights. Most of the heinous crime attributed to the Hells Angels motorcycle club is the fact that most people don't know the difference between a Hells Angel or a homicidal man dressed up like a biker, so  it is Hells Angels that get the blame. We wear our Patch or Colors as it is sometimes referred to, always when we ride our motorcycles and we accept the dangers that it brings, and  responsibility for our actions.

We will not tolerate anyone  attempting to intimidate and bully, or profiteer by pretending to be us. It is not easy to become a Hells Angel, and it is even harder to remain one.

Government oppression has many faces and the fight for freedom many fronts.

A Just Government works only when free Men will stand up for what they believe in. When you see our Death Head on our backs, or on our Clubhouses and websites, or on our Motorcycles and jewelry,  it means freedom rings!. You are looking at whatever fear, envy, awe, fascination, disdain, wonder, excitement or whatever your primal feelings are, and it means you are free to think that way.

Never Forget, oppressive government fears free thought.

READER'S LETTER TO CONGRESS

How many years we will hear the same problem with the same solution to  combat it ?  There has been a battle with gangs for over twenty-thirty years or more. It's hard to believe that not only has gang combat remained an issue for such a long period of time but that the issue still remains high on the priority list. At this point it is obvious that there are some that do not want this issue to be resolved. 

 

Instead of spending billions of dollars on fighting the gangs with Project Safe Neighborhood, Project Safe Guns, Gang Task Force, and every other type of task force that can be created, allocate the money where it should rightfully go and that is into the communities where it can actually do some good and the rest of us can see the results. Instead children are sent out of their district to go to a better school? First of all, why is it acceptable to have a school that is not beneficial to the kids? 

 

And second, why would you send them out to another community instead of fixing the problem with their school? I just don't understand how people can watch innocent children, young kids and adults die everyday so they can keep their budget alive and have a job. Is there anyone left out there who has a conscious?

 

Also, there is too much abuse and misconduct in our system to allow  agencies to declare groups to be a gang. There are millions of groups and organizations in our country.  A business is a group or organization. Just because one or two commit a crime you can't condemn the rest of the group. Its like a family member becoming a criminal.  Does that make your whole family bad, not trustworthy and not  socially acceptable? Take a minute to look at the reports of gang arrests. Someone chooses a particular type of organization or club and then goes after various groups  within that common denominator. Someone decided one day that motorcycle clubs are not motorcycle clubs  anymore they are street gangs now? Throw away your Organized Crime  Reports. Motorcycle clubs have shifted from organized crime to street  gangs. Was that for a reason? They certainly don't hang on the streets.  How do motorcycle clubs compare to the numerous amounts of killings that  occur on our street everyday? There must be reports and statistics on  all of the violent crimes in particular areas. Do all of these incidents point to motorcycle clubs as being responsible?  

 

Money allocated to  fight street gangs and/or violent crime is doing anything but that.  If it were we wouldn't have so many killings daily. If anything please take a look at the numbers and see if they actually make sense.

 

Please help to restore some faith to this country and everything it was supposed to stand for. There is almost nothing left. If the misconduct and abuse continues there will be no more respect left for our laws.
